discrimination

this occurs when a person, group of people or institution is biased or prejudiced against another person or group of people and treat them unfairly, usually by restricting or denying their human rights. E.g. In many countries women are still not allowed to be educated or employed. Until recently gay people were not allowed to marry in South Africa.
